Current BLM Fire Restrictions

Im planning on doing some shooting in BLM land near the Fillmore area this week. What can you exactly do and not do in regards to the fire restrictions? I know for sure you cannot shoot steel core rounds.

Contact BLM office that administers that area. Never heard of blm near fillmore.

There are some areas north of Fillmore. However, roads that lead to those areas are private and gated (Goodenough Rd) so I dont think I will be able to go anyways.

Not to steer the topic in the wrong direction but I thought land owners were required to provide easement to allow access to public lands that are “blocked” by private property?

Why not just go to the old Mike Thompson range in Piru?

IIRC they have a 1000 yard steel target and nice pro shop. In addition you have bathrooms and a chance to meet other shooters .

BTW if a fire does start and is attributed to something you did even by accident the results could be a life changing experience.
