Newsom recall started-how will it affect gun issues?

There is a recall started on gavin newsom and it could use some help. This could have an impact on the gun issues in this state if we can do to Newsom what was done to Gray Davis years ago. The site is recallnewsom.us from what i understand. Something to discuss as to impact on gun issues if this gets big enough. Also not sure if this is the right place for this thread.never done a thread before. could it create a big enough distraction?

Why waste time? He was elected in a landslide. There is virtually no chance of a successful recall.

All my non republican friends (or people that are Apolitical and don't follow politics closely) seem to love him.

I also predict that he will not be recalled. We can only stop him through the Courts.

I can accept what you say but at least it was put out there for consideration and rejected.

I have to agree. I've come to the harsh realization that my views don't fit the general views of this state. My opinion doesn't matter. What I think doesn't fit the norm. I still vote because I just can't bring myself not to but it doesn't make any difference. Nor will this. Waste of time. We are the minority in this state.

Is it wrong to wish that he is at the scene of the next active shooting.....and can tell the shooter about his plans to stop gun violence by way of his COMMON SENSE GUN SAFETY INITIATIVE AGENDA......and see how that works out?

How many bodyguards and guns does he have protecting him? I'll bet it borders on the obscene.

Hate to say it, but as a pragmatic person, nothing changes.

We are but like a fly, annoying, buzzing around, but at the end of the day...we are just along for the ride.

I dealt with politicians daily for almost 35 years. If the average person knew how things really work, we would be united in throwing all these clowns out and starting over. The pettiness, personal vendettas, self dealing and general lack of concern for the citizens (themselves, the tax money and societal order) is beyond your wildest dreams.

There is a lot more at stake than gun rights. Between his anti 2A, huge tax increases in what is already the highest tax state, welcoming illegal immigration, and all his other BS if he doesn't go then all of the tax payers will. I am always sceptical of these websites that want donations because anymore you never know if it's a real thing or some POS in his moms basement looking for free money. But if all you need to do is put your info in I would think it's worth your time.

The problem we are seeing in Idaho is that Californians move in, many who never voted while living in CA and start voting here. Then they either follow the stuff the NRA sends out or they just vote for the most pro 2A officials there are. Yes we get our gun rights but everything else starts to go downhill. Taxes go up, schools go down, and before you know it we are in almost as bad a place as CA has gotten. Except we will have our guns and I don't see Canadians rushing the border. Just sayin there is a lot more to it than gun rights. I certainly hope more people come to realize this and take the time to research who you are voting for when the time comes.

Re-calling Davis is how we got Arnold. Be careful what you wish for here.

I dont see any harm in signing the petition.

Just knowing the golden state killer and dozens more like him will not face the Jurys decision of capitol punishment is more than enough reason to recall him.

He got elected on an anti gun agenda so thats a bad reason for recall .

Well, maybe people will have a change of heart as he tries to push more crazy policies? Do Democrats really want free health care for all illegal immigrants in California?
