    Valkyrie Tactical

I'm rather dissapointed in their customer service as of late. I purchased a t-shirt and cleaning mat from them March 17th paid via PayPal. The USPS tracking number he provided me with says it was delivered to me on March 28th.

Long story short, got home, the mailbox door was open...all my magazines and whatnot were in there, but no box. Neighbors didnt get it by accident. Local Post Office hasn't seen it.

I've repeatedly asked Jerry if we could come to some sort of compromise on this, but he hasnt replied back to my emails since April 6th when he told me to ask my neighbors if they got it...

I'm quite displeased with a total abandonment of a customer, even if I am 1,000 miles away...

I’m sorry to hear about the loss but I fail to see how this is Valkyrie Tactical’s fault. I’d take this up with the US post office and buy a lockable mailbox. Were you expecting him to resend the order?

For the record, I had checks stolen out of my locked mailbox 2 years ago. Not fun.

I understand it isnt his fault, but I was at least hoping we could discuss another order. I would certainly like to get my merchandise, but would prefer a more secure form of delivery, such as UPS or having it require a signature, anything to prevent it from being stolen again...

That seems totally reasonable. I apologize for not understanding that.
        Good luck

No insurance on it? If not, who's fault is that?

I do not see an option for insurance on the checkout.

I placed an order in March. One of my items was back ordered, and the company maintained wonderful communication during the whole process! I could not have been happier with entire transaction. I'm sorry your experience wasnt as pleasureable, but it sounds like you need to talk to the post office instead.

As others have said, you need to file a claim with your post office. Hopefully they can find it for you. As far as trying to work something out, have you called the business?

He SHOULD maybe give you free shipping. But what do you expect him to do? USPS is the MOST SECURE method of shipment in this country, it's actually a crime to steal mail sent via USPS, the other services have no such guarantees. If your mail was stolen, contact your local US Postal Inspector and they will come beat the bushes and scare the locals for you. They are gun carrying federal law enforcement officers with the full power of the US government to investigate mail related crime so you might want to contact them.

People seems to somehow believe that UPS and FedEx is "safer", that is FAR from the truth, USPS was and is still the only SECURED method of mailing in this country. If you lost something through USP for FedEx by theft you'd be out of luck, with USPS, someone's gonna go to jail for it.

As far as what VT can do for you as far as a "compromise", well what exactly were you trying to compromise with him? Did you expect to get stuff half off or free?

Again, take it up with your local Postal Inspectors, they don't get pay $100,000+ a year and carry a gun for no reason.

I would never give my business to a company that would even THINK of selling something like this (and, it seems, it's one of THEIR OWN ITEMS!!!):http://www.valkyrietactical.com/serv...t-Cover/Detail - yeh, they can claim it is "inspired" by a recent comedy film............but we all know who/what it stands for.

I'm going to take issue with what you said above. Only to say, Postal will prosecute for internal (postal worker) theft but you will not get your money back.
My son received a birthday card sent USPS Priority from his Grandparents out of state. The card arrived in their priority packaging but the envelope had been opened and retaped. Of course, the gift card to Best Buy was gone. I went to the post office and spoke with the head guy. They did an investigation and was able to track the card from the gift receipt to which Best Buy it was used at. They then viewed the tapes when the card was cashed and spotted their guy using the card. Busted! Great, but sorry, no return of the money since no insurance was purchased. They said they would ask for restitution when he was prosecuted in court. We never saw a dime.

Funny, that product is exactly what convinced me to purchase from Valkyrie a few months back (and the free shipping for CalGuns members). I was quite happy with both the products and customer service provided.
