As long as it isn't marked pistol I would think its gtg as long as it is off list which it should be.

Your FFL is wrong and it doesn't matter if it's marked pistol or not. What matters is how it's DROS'd to you. If it's DROS'd as a rifle "receiver only" then there's no issue. Now, if they tried to DROS as a pistol, then the roster applies.

Where are you located? There are plenty of FFL's in Norcal that can handle this for you.

The Gun Range on Watt, just North of I-80 has always been the best to work with, but they charge $50.00 transfer fee.

It's either their policy change or a rookie that doesn't know what they're doing. They've got a bunch of young folks working there that regurgitate misinformation. They've always had unusual practices. Check for bullet holes in the floor and ceiling the next time you're there.

I will call them tomorrow and ask. I used to use Rob and needed someone new, regretting my choice now.

Thanks, I was pretty sure I was good to go on ordering it and was lost for words when they called me to tell me I need to send it back.

Really? That's odd. I've never had an issue there.

SBR has been great in my experience.
