    Anyone Know the reason the Gun Exchange is no longer there.

          They told me at the time that they closed down because of the handgun safety requirements.

            The day they closed they had a final sale and I asked Bob Posner what happened. The paperwork, city taxes, thin profit margins - he and his sister had simply reached the point where enough was enough.

            Too bad, too. Now I work right across the street from where they were and it's a sad thing when a couple of fine people like the Posner's are driven out of business.

                I believe Bob Posner does (or did) some work at Krausewerk Militaria (Mike Krause's place) in San Mateo. I recall seeing an older bearded gentleman wearing an SFGX logo shirt...

                Haven't been to Krausewerk in over a year though...
