They told me at the time that they closed down because of the handgun safety requirements.Comment

The day they closed they had a final sale and I asked Bob Posner what happened. The paperwork, city taxes, thin profit margins - he and his sister had simply reached the point where enough was enough.
Too bad, too. Now I work right across the street from where they were and it's a sad thing when a couple of fine people like the Posner's are driven out of business.Comment

I believe Bob Posner does (or did) some work at Krausewerk Militaria (Mike Krause's place) in San Mateo. I recall seeing an older bearded gentleman wearing an SFGX logo shirt...
Haven't been to Krausewerk in over a year though...
