He directed me to a unfired M16a1 Us Property marked.

I snoozed and didn't pull the trigger on it. Someone else hit the buy it now on Gunbroker.

He thought it was me, and wanted to congratulate me.
I told him I was a little trigger shy, and it was not me.

Long story short, original buyer backed out and it was relisted, I clicked the buy it now button within 15 minutes of it being relisted.

There was a lot of talk on other sites that this was probably a hacked user because of how low the price was, I was a bit nervous after the fact.

It finally made it to a dealer in NV and it was as advertised.

Thanks for encouraging me to purchase this rare gem, honestly would not have done it with our your expertise!

I am so glad you scored it.

I was talking about you and the colt to my cousin while we were driving through canada 2 weeks ago. My son was listening to me explain I was ready to buy the gun for him as an investment but he ragged on it for being a "unreliable war gun" based on reading the history of the M16. He did not really understand that it was brand new in the box and so extremely rare since it was a prop of us gov marked unissued M16A1.

It would have been mine if he did not poo poo it but I am glad you got it. It deserves to be in a collectors hands and I could have flipped it to you easily or someone else for a $3-5k profit but that is not how I function in life. I think you got a great deal on it for what the gun is.
