Hi Everyone,

Just saw this item online, in a newer, subcompact form, sort of along the lines of a sub-compact Glock or similar?

It fires 2 attached darts up to 15', comes with 2 rounds, and when no rounds in chamber, can still be used as a Stun Gun, up close.

Comes in box with flimsy holster (possiblity of inside belt carry?)
Has ambidextrous Safety (both sides ) and looks ergonomically easily
managed. Sells for $299 to $350. Approx. 3 to 5 ounces?

Demo on Youtube is compelling;

So, I'm assuming when they said 4 or 5 States don't allow "carry" of this
device, California is Top of the List.

Can anyone comment on Calif. Law on this and, in general, please comment
on possible advantage / disadvantage of Taser / Stun Gun option of
disabling assailant / Threat up close with Non-Lethal Force.

They claim you disable the target for a minimum of 30 seconds, where he is impaired, you Drop the Taser Pulse, and you escape the threat to a safe location.

If you file a police report, send it, along with your receipt to manufacturer,
they will Replace, at no cost to you, the Taser Pulse Unit.

Wow,

So are you referring to Open Carry, holstered on my hip, say, at a Public Farmers' Market, or similar? (I know the upcoming LA County Fair near me
would probably not let me in with it, with all the metal detectors, etc.)

Not that you're an expert on this subject, but, could you please speculate:

If I had it Inside Belt Concealed Carry, since it's not a "Gun"
(firing device using gunpowder and long range projectiles?) would I
be subject to possible penalty for using it in an emergency, i.e.,
someone confronting me at my car, for example?

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any person may purchase, possess, or use a stun gun, subject to the following requirements:
(a) No person convicted of a felony or any crime involving an assault under the laws of the United States, the State of California, or any other state, government, or country, or convicted of misuse of a stun gun under Section 244.5, shall purchase, possess, or use any stun gun.
(b) No person addicted to any narcotic drug shall purchase, possess, or use a stun gun.
(c) (1) No person shall sell or furnish any stun gun to a minor unless the minor is at least 16 years of age and has the written consent of the minor’s parent or legal guardian.
(2) Violation of this subdivision shall be a public offense punishable by a fifty-dollar ($50) fine for the first offense. Any subsequent violation of this subdivision is a misdemeanor.
(d) No minor shall possess any stun gun unless the minor is at least 16 years of age and has the written consent of the minor’s parent or legal guardian.

looks like your GTG on state laws for CC of this but you'll need to check city/county laws because some places do regulate it. I'm interested in this as well but I didn't see anything on their web site that says you can use it with out the app that costs 9.99/ mo. If it has to have that app I think I'll pass on this. Pepper spray is a good alternative as well, I've been through both and while the taser did make life suck for a few seconds the pepper spray hurt for 2 days.

have 2 personal taser pulses,have sold over 50 of the public.
i used mine once in drive mode(contact stun) and got great compliant/

Great device, definitely legal and saved my dads arse one night with one of these. I was driving home from work, working a grave shift, and my dad was at the gas station near our house leaving for work at about 4:00 AM. I saw him pumping gas while I was sitting at a red light when I witnessed two men approach him. My father then put his hands in the air and through my open vehicle window I could hear him say "I don't want any trouble guys". The two individuals then surrounded him and backed him into his vehicle's doorway. My father took a defensive stance and I could tell he needed help. I immediately drove into the gas station, slammed on the breaks to make a distracting noise and grabbed the taser -- putting the laser on the individuals eyes to get their attention and disorient them. I've never seen two men run so fast in my life. One ran down the road and the other went to the corner at the traffic light where he pushed the button to "Walk" across the street. I remember yelling at him "Oh, no you obey the law? Get the F*** out of here!"

Now I live in a free state and carry a gun. The end.

They will always work unless a person Is on some serious drugs, to far away when you shoot at them, moving, aiming Is not good.

I don't rely on It, but I can pull the cartridge out really fast If they want to get really close to me. Plus I have lead If I'm close to much truck.

I play with angry cows and grumpy bulls, and the not so bright plesent people, so a human doesn't make me worry much. Just now days you never know what will happen.
