Anyone avoid the "ReadID required" FFLs ?

I've done a couple of PPTs lately where the FFL took my non-Real ID without a peep.

Earlier this year I did one where the FFL said he needed proof of legal residency ( Passport, etc ).

Does anyone avoid these FFLs like they do those who won't release on "undetermined" ?
Anyone press will hear the fat lady sing.

Last two PPTs 2 months ago were fine with the old standard pre-REAL ID license....as they should be

          What he said. ^^^

However, put yourself in FFL's shoes. The paper work that he handles is federal. Ok, now a guy comes in to buy/sell/trade a gun. The person's drivers licence clearly says "Federal Limits Apply"

What is the FFL supposed to do. He is not a genealogist.

The eF up is on DMV and those who decided to give illegal aliens drivers licences at the expense of making American Citizens' and permanent residents' lives miserable.

You can thank the democrats for that.

The last two PPT's I did as a seller, two different shops noted non real ID and requested another from of ID. I dropped a passport\passport ID card on them.
Quick and easy. Why all the fireworks?

A non-REAL ID does not necessarily mean an FLA ID. You'll have to be more specific.

The pre-REAL ID act ones still work fine.

OK. So based on this, Turners will accept a CDL that was issued before this whole Real-ID mess. Mine doesn't say "Federal Limits Apply" on it. So I should be able to do a PPT as buyer and seller, correct?

I'm doing so on Thursday so want to make sure I don't have to dig out my passport.

                  Non-Real ID

I have bought one firearm and ammo from 2 local FFLs since July 1 and without a real ID, though I am going to get one when I have time. I have a passport and a certified birth cert.

As long as it doesn't say federal limits apply its fine. Old style that doesn't say it? Fine. New real ID that doesn't say federal limits apply? Fine. As long as it is a valid non expired CA ID or dl that doesn't say federal limits apply, you are fine. If it DOES say FLA, bring a passport or birth certificate with you. It isn't hard.
