Full of weapons, ammo, fireworks and ferrets.

Based on the comments being left on articles where idiots are attesting to driving to Oregon and Nevada, picking up, and bringing back whatever they want/as much as they want while avoiding the sales tax... It would not surprise me to see a 'crack down' of some sort.

It will be a very brief period, wholly random, and up against the same odds as the regular checks. However, anyone they manage to catch will be made an example of in the interest of 'sending a message.'

Expect that to come in conjunction with notices being sent to businesses in neighboring States warning them of 'prosecution' or 'lawsuits' or similar should it be determined that the ammunition was purchased from them. Never mind that there is no law prohibiting California residents from buying ammunition in other States; i.e., the law only prohibits them from bringing it back. Such 'notice' will be sent and, at some level, Becerra is just stupid and arrogant enough to try and enforce it.

However, that article is another example of how both the media and politicians mislead with statistics. The headline is that 100 sales were blocked; but, they don't tell you why. Yet, we know from anecdotal 'evidence' just on this site that the reason for denials can be something as simple as the spelling of a street name.

Then you find, somewhat 'buried' in the article...

...Aside from the more than 100 who were prohibited, the state's filing says nearly 11,000 prospective buyers were denied immediate approval but were not determined to be barred from owning guns or buying ammunition. The state processed more than 57,000 such transactions in the first month, approving nearly 47,000 of them...
Uh... I might be a little rusty with my arithmetic, but if only "nearly 47,000" of the "more than 57,000" transactions were approved, doesn't that mean that more than 10,000 were NOT approved? Bear in mind that's a separate 'statistic,' the way the piece mentions it, than the 11,000 who were denied 'immediate approval.'

So... What are the actual number of denials?

Californians ignoring unconstitutional laws is a form of protest against a tyrannical state.
