Just received it today and did a test fit. People claimed that 6" revolvers would not fit but if you don't mind altering the bottom of the bay foam to allow the handgrip to slide back further it fits nicely. The slide section of the handgun (and barrel of a full size 6" revolver) are meant to ride above the foam. The recessed lid and foam leave a lot of room. See pics for 6" Revolver fit.
