Need Good Anti-walk Pins

Just had a regular trigger pin go flying out of a build. Are there any decent anti-walk pins sets under $20?

KNS Precision non-rotating hammer and trigger pins go for more than your target price of 20 bucks, but they do sell pin sizes for slightly oversized pin holes than the standard .154. The oversized pins are for trigger / hammer pin holes that have worn a bit or that have not been drilled to spec.

Palmetto State Armory makes anti-walk pins they sell for $9.99

I use KNS Precision pins on all my rigs but they are a little more than 20 dollars.

99.9% of the time the trigger pins walk because the hammer spring has been installed backwards..... The gun will still fire normally but the trigger pin will walk.

The KNS kit was designed primarily to keep the pins from ROTATING and wearing the pin holes in the frame.

Also, if you have a drop in trigger group, the pins can walk out if the set screws loosen up.
I prefer Elftmann antiwalk pins. No little screws to deal with.

I can't see how a properly installed trigger pin can "go flying out" of your receiver.
Maybe you should look into why that happened?

Some DIT triggers have no pin retainers and no set screws to tension the unit against the pins, and are meant to be used with anti walk pins. Most mfgs will provide the pins if so but not all.

And when DIT trigger does use set screws to jam the unit against the pins, I don’t use them. Easier to just use the anti walk pins and less wear on the lower.

KNS anti walk pin is usually my first upgrade in AR lower.

Even on properly installed lower, I have felt pins protruding out a little bit on one side (still fully functional rifle) after a day at the range. so I added KNS kit

If you are running a standard mil std FCG, your hammer spring should hold your trigger pin in place due to being indexed on top of the trigger pin notches. The J-spring in the hammer should hold the hammer spring in place due being indexed in the middle pin notch.
