.22 Legality question

So - I tried to search for this, but - came up a little short.

I live in NV, Moving to CA within the next couple of months.
One of the guns i'll (hopefully) be bringing with me, is an old Marlin 99 .22.
Got a little concerned that this may be an issue for a couple of reasons.

First, this gun was made sometime between '59 and '61. It's stamped with the mfg stuff - but no serial. None of the original 99's have serials - since they weren't required until several years later.

Second, it has a 16 round tube mag. This doesn't seem to be as big of an issue - as i've seen multiple people on here with Marlin 60s - which are virtual clones. (The 60 was a slight revamp of the 99, released in '61 or '62)

Haven't been able to really find a satisfying answer to this - but is this gun okay to bring in? I'd really prefer not to have to get rid of it. I just got it recently as a project, and it's sort of mid-restoration right now. Thing shoots insanely well though.

Any guidance is appreciated.

You're fine. Only handguns have to be registered to you, long guns do not. I've sold many a rifle without serial numbers. Shoulsn't be an issue.

Hi capacity tube magazines are exempt from ban.

I was more concerned with the serial number thing. I know the long guns don't have to be registered, but - ya never know.
