My Russian SKS is named Natasha. Will not name American guns. But I've got Valentina, Tanya, and Natalya saved up for future Russian arms coming in. Theres some "Soviet Charm" to both the weapons and the names.

I'm probably going to name my next gun The Infidel, have it engraved in Arabic on the stock or some such thing. I don't know. If and when I get an M1A it will be named Charlene

                I wouldn't name anything that wasn't engraved.

Maybe I should get a lower body tattoo

I'm not really on a first name basis with mine yet

Don't have any problem with others naming their guns (kind of cool and weird at the same time). I'm against it on principle - if I get too attached to my rifle, I might hesitate to beat zombies over the head with it when TSHTF.

Same reason - finances aside - I like inexpensive, mass-produced guns. I'm not going to cry over a good condition M91/30 like I would over a excellent plus Schmidt-Ruben 1911.
