Did you discuss the transfer beforehand? From what I've seen on this board he is legit and has good customer service. Might be a fluke given the covid situation in California

Yes, I discussed the transfer beforehand. I succeed to get there for a paperwork yesterday. It seems like he is a nice guy, just his working hours and communication is not very reliable. I guess we would have to gather more patience nova times.

Rob Blank (RMB Enterprises) in Milpitas charges $40 as his transfer free, which is very hard to beat.
No appointment needed now or for at least the past 3 weeks - just drop by during business hours.
I just did a transfer recently, and he was not terribly busy. Nothing like it was before the bullet button ban happened.

He's very knowledgable as well and a straight shooter. I've been doing transfers through him for longer than I'd care to admit. No regrets.

Alquist Arms in Turlock is the best gun store in CA, they're amazing people and have always done the right thing, never gouged, very low transfer fee, always welcoming and personable, I could list a hundred good things and no bad things about them.

I bought my first gun from them, and many others, I still remember how well they treated me then, and they keep doing the right thing with prices and service.

The Alquist family are the best.

I'm wondering the same. Anyone know any Peninsula FFL that will accept ammo shipments? Nobody local seems to have anything in stock, but might be able to find things online. I don't care if they charge, I don't expect them to work for free.

Yes, you better check first. BTW this is just one person and his schedule is quite floating, so you will need a patience. Also, it seems like best way to communicate with him is through Facebook page/messages.
