I am not normally a pessimist. But when it comes to guns, I think we've lost our opportunity to reverse their proliferation.
Some people just don't get it. I guess the liberal world view does not understand that humans are capable of bad things and that there are BAD people in this world. I guess if we took all weapons away from everyone the violence would just stop? A bare hand can make someone dead just as much as a pencil, or knife, or gun. I guess ignorance is bliss.
