I ordered magazine catch kits for KelTec Sub2000 from Optics planet and received the following response, any idea what is happening here? I asked them to reconsider, waiting for reply.

Optics Planet has recently adopted a policy similar to what Cheaper Than Dirt and Sportsmans Guide has.
Which is, if they think it's illegal in CA, they won't sell/ship it to CA. Even if it's CA legal and you show them proof that it is CA legal.
It's their policy and they are not willing to change it.

Probably Prop 65 BS. For a while Ruger wouldn't even ship T-shirts here because of it. I just checked and it looks like they are shipping to CA again.

I'm sure Optics Planet will get it resolved. They have to do some product labeling. As usual, blame it on CA.

What you need to do is get a package forwarding service from any of the tax free state. Call your credit card company and change the billing / shipping to the package forwarding company. Place the order use package forwarding address. After the package arrived their facility, they will reship the package to your CA address.

Thanks for reaching out, OpticsPlanet, but if you were not able to solve the problem via email I don't see how you can help me further via calguns. The only thing that would be nice to have is more visibility as what restriction prevents the order from shippping, instead of us here speculating that it is Prop 65. Part numbers are listed in the initial post.
