I plan on being there. Hopefully, prices remain low and the vendors won't be gouging panic buyers. I just need ammo for some matches as I don't collect brass there.

Why would there be panic buyers if all it means is $1 more for an instant background check after 1 July with no purchase limit?

If the $1 instant background check doesn't clear you there is a $19 background check with a waiting period.

Why pay $10 just to find ammo for about the same price as your LGS or Walmart or worse (more)? Maybe if Miwall is there then there might be some good deals on pistol ammo reloads. However Miwall's site doesn't show Lancaster on their schedule.

It's 15 miles from our range and my trailer so I might drop by. Have to put a shooting bench in and some target butts anyway. Setting up some ar 300/500 steel to shoot.

Last time I attended the Landscatter Gun Show I got a great deals on a 'display' Mossberg 590A1 along with an ACU pattern Eagle RRV w/pouches.

I buy what I like based upon price. I just bought some bulk pack Winchester NATO 124 gr 9mm at Walmart because the price was very good. I check them and if they have .223 FMJ ammo at prices that beat the gun show prices, I buy it. (My 9mms seem to prefer the 124 gr ammo over the more common 115 gr.) LAX ammo frequently has good deals at the shows.

The OC Gun Show a couple of weeks ago had noticeably more ammo vendors than usual. There were some good deals, wasn't too crazy. If you're waiting till now to stock up your doing it wrong.

I keep waiting for LAX to have one last sale, they keep saying they won't but come on they have to!

Was at Walmart and the guys in front of me at the ammo counter mentioned going to the gun show to pick up more ammo. Since Sunday is July 1st, then it will be Sat that will see any crowd. OOOP! Read the calender wrong.:blush: Its going to be a crowded weekend at Walmart once everyone is disappointed by the ammo prices.

I checked out the Walmart in Victorville and bought some 9mm and 5.56 ammo for good prices...probably as low as or lower than at the gun show. I will probably still go to the gun show just to check it out, though.
