Smoke and flare grenade ?’s

Are smoke and flare grenades still legal in this god forsaken state? If so can I still order them or do they fall under the ammunition bull***** laws?

I can not have a bottle rocket or a black cat fire cracker, So I would be amazed if Smoke and flare grenades are legal.

CA destructive device laws applies to all grenades. [PC 16460(a)(2)]

If the smoke or flare cartridge is for use in an emergency signal launching device, then they are exempt from CA destructive device laws.

But, they still needs to comply with CA ammo laws, due to them meeting the CA legal definition of ammunition. [PC 16150(a)]

In addition, CA legal use of smoke/flare cartridges are limited to emergency use only or on CA approved target ranges for destructive devices.
