    paid storage options

I'm coming into a situation where I will not be able to store my own rifles. We are doing a home renovation which will take the better part of a year and we'll be moving into an apartment. Ultimately the goal is to have a bolted down safe but for now I want to be able to keep my guns accessible but safely stored.
So my question is if there's anything like a public storage facility for these things that I can simply pay monthly for and have ready access

Cannot keep in buddies safe if he has access.Lots of posts on this. They are defacto his guns now. Provide your own locked container that only you have access to. Send them to audiophile in az or get a storage locker and STF UP After all the threads on this some people still do not get it.

^^ Already told him that. He wants access so rent a storage unit and put old freezer in it with a lock and store stuff around and on top and do not tell anyone. Get fluorescent lamp boxes long guns fit perfectly in them and are unidentifiable as a firearm box when you want to retrieve to shoot.

Some FFL offer long term storage but it’s $$$.

I remember back in 2000 we had sold our home and were waiting on the new house to be built. We had to rent an apartment for 3 months (which turned into 1 year, thanks to my builder)I had to put my guns in a storage unit. I stuffed them all the way up front with house and garage stuff in the front..I didn't sleep well for a year, but all turned out well.

Reeds (San Jose) has gun storage available. Last time I checked it was $40/month but I don't know if they have the space needed to store rifles.
