What is going on with CalGuns!!!???

So this is the second time this has happened to me, but it seems as though all my listing and posts have been either condensed or deleted!

Originally I was at over 500 posts then it got knocked back to about 350ish, now I was just about to break 500 again and now I'm at 215! I was up at senior member and now it has been pushed back to almost newbie levels.

Anyone else experience this with the rankings?

Looking quickly at your posted thread history, you seem to have a lot of "locked" sales threads.

I don't know why that is or even if that's affecting your post count (which is it really not that important anyway).

A members I Trader rating is more important because if someone had low post count but it extremely high number of deals and all positive I Trader rating, I think that would give them more "Calguns-credibility".

I would do two things if I were you...
I'd thoroughly familiarize myself with the posted Calguns rules, Especially the marketplace rules.

And then once you've done that contact a mod here with any questions you might still have.



Lastly, I thought I should add I haven't noticed any funny business with my post count numbers but honestly I don't really watch them at all...

I go by how many laughs,
which is significantly higher than my post count.

Here's a wild guess....you were listing items to sell and used separate & multiple threads/listings. If this is the case, that is a reason posts are consolidated or deleted. If this isn't the case, then ask the mods.

I looked at your post history, since I can see deleted posts.

In your for sale threads, you were often posting a 'TOP' post more than one time in 24 hours; that's a rule violation, and a moderator deleted some of your threads for that.

5) Back to the Top (BTT) is allowed once per calendar day per PST/PDT.

'Calendar Day' refers to the 24 hour period described as 'MM/DD/YYYY' in the Pacific time zone.

This rule also encompasses all the other methods used to surreptitiously "bump" a thread sooner than allowed. Clever 'sales comments' and addendum's that can easily be added to the original post are just some examples. New posts that add content such as pictures or additional information will be considered as a "BTT". The time of last BTT is based on the last post by the original poster. Answers to posted material questions regarding the item may be posted in the thread prior to the next calendar day. Deleting your own BTT post and re-bumping your thread within the same calendar day may result in your thread being locked or deleted.

It's true.. if you are selling three things (ie 3 rifles) you make ONE thread.. not 3 threads that you bump to death.

That would explain the consolidation to the rules and your subsequent post drop.
