Do out of state private sellers profit?

So why don't individual out of state people purchase off-roster in-demand firearms and sell them to california residents at a profit more frequently. I am a CA resident so this isn't something i'm interested in doing, i'm just wondering why we don't see more of this happening to help us stuck in this state get nice competition ready firearms. What other forums are best for this purpose?

I believe out of state purchases are processed as a dealer transfer, therefore the handgun must be in the roster. Intra-familiar transfers are exempt but most be a parent to child, grandparent to grandchild or vice-versa.

So basically the only way off-roster handguns make it into CA is through intra-familial transfers and people moving into the state. That can't possibly be the only way

Those are the only legal ways. I'm sure there are other's that aren't so legal, but happen anyway.

It used to be that you could purchase off roster guns through the Single Shot Exemption (SSE) process, but they closed that loophole a few years back. Prior to that, however, EVERYBODY would purchase via SSE and a ton of what is here is a result of that.

I've bought stuff (accessories) from youse guys behind the salsa curtain before, but I've purposefully AVOIDED buying your guns. I figure, if it's ALREADY in CA, better that it STAY there, because youse guys are gonna NEED 'em, if you ever grow a pair.

I'm in a free state, and can buy anything I want. We're NFA/Class III even, if I want to do the paperwork. No sense taking stuff you've already GOT there, OUTTA there.

                  FWIW.

What the hell does this post have to do with the OPs question? He asked about bringing firearms IN to CA, not sending them OUT of CA.

I live in a free state and can buy whatever I want as well, BFD. Why post condescending remarks to the people who live in CA because their government restricts their rights? Do you feel better now?

                    Lame.
