So if they ever get robbed the responding officers will have to just wait outside for the perps to exit.
Stop calling them Lawmakers. It only encourages them.

Hit the store in the pocketbook.

      Refund.

I have been hearing about this happening sporadically. Let's hope this does not become the new movement.
Life was simpler, and more honest, when revolvers and lever actions were the rule.

The basketball coach ( Steve Kerr) who wears anti gun shirts to the games could have hurt the profit margin.
Steph Curry had a playoff career-high last night against Kawhi Leonard & the Raptors, the Warriors still went down to defeat in Game 3.

Ratings are at a 12 year low . Hopefully the Kay jewelry outfit and all their subsidiary's go bankrupt !

I used to be that jackhole's biggest fans, from his days at Arizona. Until he got political in the Age of Trump.

There have been a few famous robberies where the bad guys dress up as law enforcement.

But I don't think this is security related caution. Sounds like they are trying to make a political statement.

Why do businesses get into that? Just buy and then resell the item that you buy and resell, other than that keep your company mouth shut.

Time to put the pitchforks down and crack open a beer. Update on Kay FB page - sounds like the manager got kicked to the curb.

After learning of an incident involving a law enforcement officer in Iredell County, North Carolina, Kay Jewelers reached out immediately to the customer and the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, and we sincerely apologized for the mishandling of this matter.

Our policy is that any member of law enforcement is always welcomed in our store at any time, as a customer or in an official capacity.

We have tremendous respect for and closely work with law enforcement at all levels, and we thank the Office for bringing this to our attention.

We are reinforcing store training regarding all of our Customer First policies, as well as specific policies related to law enforcement, in all of our stores.

The store manager is no longer employed by the company.

Good, that store manager caused the company a lot of bad PR. Stupid move.

An Iredell County deputy attempting to pick up a pre-purchased engagement ring from a Kay Jewelers Tuesday was turned away because his uniform, which contained a service weapon, didn’t meet store policy, officials say.

Wankers abusing their job positions to promote personal or political agendas does happen rarely. Hopefully it remains rarely and those responsible meet fast correction of their abuses.

Kay's did the right thing in relation to this incident. Hopefully they will get the public recognition they deserve for doing so. Not the "FAKE NEWS" crap, that is being blindly spread by social media.
