Interrupter gear / machine gun synchronizer demonstration model

I know some of you probably know about this device and how it kept early combat airplanes from shooting their own propeller.
I thought this was a very cool and well-built demonstration model.

What firearm or firearm device would you make a demonstration model out of?

I guess semi or automatic guns that don't use recoil energy to cycle their actions would be interesting.

Chain and Gatling guns for example.

A original style Gatling gun version would be very cool but I bet there's already a mock-up model or two that's already been built for General Electric's (the designer) or General Dynamics (the builder) of the A-10's( Warthog /Thunderbolt) hydraulically powered "Gatlin Style autocannon".

Someone would just need to add some lights and maybe something that throws expended dummy cartridges around for that extra cool effect.
