My first stop was at Dublin guns and knifes.
My second time going and it was pretty nice. The shop is a average small shop with display of guns on one side and knifes on the other.
Selection was ok, they had a few glocks and various handguns.
They even had some new lowers in stock! some company in Nevada, Dessert something.. anyways, theres a old guy that works there is pretty nice, hard of hearing though.
overall not a whole lot to look at but nice guy.
second shop was Castro Valley gun shop.
Wow, more than the first shop but the attitude is there.
3 guys were there, 1 was somewhat helpful, I saw the reloading stuff in the rear and saw reloader 15 in stock, wow! how much is this? guy said 25$ nice ill get one. I looked around some more, quite a few people walking around looking, then some guy who was wearing digi camo pants, some Tshirt that had a star on it and said something like corrections or rehab something, looking to buy 3 revolvers.
*warning bells went off in my head 1 handgun 30 days* what the 3 handguns? well, the guy working there was first talking about the DROS sale, then they were talking about a PPT because they are on consignment or something and could save the guy tax.
Anyways, being puzzled about the guy wanting to pay cash all up front for the handguns etc i thought hmm, this guy exempt some how?
anyways, I and another guy waited to pay for our powder and finally the guy called another guy out to come help as they were blabbing away in the back,
Guy rings me up, 32.92 WTF?
wait the other guy said 25$ noooooo price went up..
sure did, no thanks
so overall, service sucks, overpriced wolf ammo too so i left.
One store i will never return to.

Ohh i forgot to add, I stopped by Diablo Valley gun works in Pleasant hill,
Small shop, not much to see, but all the workers there were nice, greeting with a smile and eating a hotdog!
I asked about ammo and the guy went to check but didnt want to give me a price because he said "xxxx" will say the price is wrong. I guess he meant the boss?
from the previous stories i wanted to stay away from this shop but i thought what the heck might as well check it out.
Quite a few people at the store though. seems like all the workers were cool, didnt stay long enough though.
Then went to caspers right across and had a nice hotdog.
