That's actually how it came up. I can respect a decision to just not want to deal with it, but he was very adamant on it being super duper illegal for me to do it.
When I tried explaining it was exempt from the roster being interfamilial he got very irritated and said "Look it's illegal ok."
Ok bud. I'll take my business to another shop for my "Illegal transfer" lmao.... -
In the world we live in, I really have come to appreciate an individual that just straight out tells me they don't want to get involved versus wasting my time with double-talk and misinformation. So hard to find qualified, knowledgeable folks. When you do....hang onto them.Last edited by still919; 05-25-2019, 8:27 PM.Comment

I’m just some idiot but after the last year of talking to FFLs around Norcal I feel like I should get mine and open a shop.
If I had a business revolving around firearms you could be damn sure I would have a binder full of PCs and relevant info for not only myself but customers. Who the hell opens a business in such a bad 2a state and bases it around hearsay.Comment

I don't understand the second point. Maybe I'm reading wrong, but it looks to me as if you're both saying the wrong thing. It's legal for an out of state resident to do an in-person transfer at an FFL, The method of delivery is not specified by law. It's not the same as a PPT by California law, so of course they can charge what they want.Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

I myself and many friends have purchased numerous firearms from Integrity Arms and I have nothing but great things to say about them.
Secondly, OFF ROSTER Intra familiar firearms transfers from out of state MUST be done face to face and the receiving party must send an Intra-Familial Firearm Transaction form to DOJ.
If the firearms is CA compliant it can be sent to a dealer for transfer but is then treated as a "dealer sale" not an Intra-Familiar transaction.
I respectfully encourage you to do a little more research before you start bashing a great shop!
If you call around enough you will find that dealers do not actually have a way of facilitating these off roster Intra-Familiar transfers.Last edited by deltarod; 05-30-2019, 5:32 PM.Comment

Where did the BS about family bringing gun to ffl in this state and doing intrafamilial. Cannot hand to family member but can hand to ffl. Can be off roster, can be ar pistol.
Can be shipped to ffl as well fud from delta rod.Comment

Please open one and I will be a customer. Heck, you don't even need a storefront just as long as you do transfers you'll make plenty of money.Last edited by LongLiveTheRepublic; 05-30-2019, 5:07 PM.Comment

It’s weird no shops have a way to facilitate this transfer seeing as I not only just did one but had many shops willing to. Shipped from family straight to FFL
But let me guess, you’re response will be the same as there’s. What I did was illegal right? Lol...Attached FilesLast edited by wilderness medic; 05-31-2019, 6:48 AM.Comment
