Please direct me to the correct thread if there is one, but a question about capacity and legality in California.

In another thread, I was asking about Marlin tube-fed bolt action rifles. The XT-22TR is a 15-round tube-fed bolt action. Is that legal in California, or is it also subject to the 10-round max? If it's not legal, Can I buy an older one from an out-of-state dealer and have it shipped? If so, what's the cut-off year for legality?

Yes you're good to go. No laws about tube fed. If their was laws against the tube fed than it wouldn't be in California for the start. I have a marlin model 60 and Xt22tr and I load it to the max when hunting. The xt can hold 15-16 of lr, 17 L, 25 S. I used the cci copper hp short that holds 25rd on squirrels which is fun.

CCI makes an expensive all copper .22LR. I hear it's very inaccurate too.
