Well derrr me. Sorry, I was blinded by visions of a MK4 on my rifle. Crucial words must be read. Still, $175.00 would be too much to pay for that junk replica tube.

I remember a while back someone on arf went into detail on how to spot the replicas. They use different font style, different spacing, etc. Also I believe there was something about raised/indented text. The general concensus was, I believe, that they are crap and won't last long but they can be fairly nice on a .22 or the like. It's essentially in the same category as the Aimpoint/ACOG rip offs; they were made for airsoft and won't hold up to the abuse of a normal rifle, but something small should be alright (just don't expect lens, image, light, etc quality that you get with a real Leupold.

I know someone who got a cheap Aimpoint to put on one of their rifles. The thing got suck shock from each shot that the dot litterally bounced around inside the objective. One shot it would be dead center, the next it was bottom right, then upper right, lower left, etc. It was find of funny. He took it off and lerned his lesson (as did I). Buy cheap, buy twice.

I read a review on them a while back.
The China and Hong Kong models were useless because they can't track after every .308 round.
The Indonesian models where pretty good. Has some problems at max zoom.

$175 is around there, since I can't find them on eBay anymore. They were going for $150.

Anyone with a fake copy of a US scope normally produced by US co w/US labor (and whose companies often support 2nd Amend/RKBA causes) oughta go straight to hell.

I get really P.O.'d by folks looking for "ACOG clones, but only wanna pay $200".

The parallax knob doesnt look right. It should match the rest. At least it does on my Mk4M1 10x legit -- or it better be cause i dropped $1300.00

EDIT: NM it looks like a BDC.
