The Wally Mart in Windsor was out of 44mag. The sales lady got out the scanner and found 5 boxes in storage. She then took my name and number so she could put in a special order. Damn nice peopl in the gun department.

I'm going to school in Lassen county, but Humboldt county is home. In Lassen, your considered to be a freak if you don't own a gun, I often see stuff that I know is illegal, and the police ignore it. They only care if your using the gun to do something you shouldn't. If I'm buying ammo at walmart, the guy at the counter gives me a wierd look if I only buy one box.

Back in Humboldt, I find if I wear my Lassen Gunsmithing Guild teeshirt I get people asking me to work on their guns. And people come out of the woodwork to tell me gun stories.

Support your ghetto gun store and shop at River City Gun Exchange. Every time I've been there, they have ammo cheaper than walmart.
Paradox. I shop at River City all the time. I have bought too many firearms to count from there now. They are my favorite place to haunt. They just don't sell bulk packs of .22 as cheap as walmart(although I buy all my specialty .22 from them)

+1 to ghetto guns at River City Gun Exchange. I've made my last few purchases there, no ammo though.

Being from the LA area, it is difficult to find a Wal-mart that sells anything firearm related.

Imagine my surprise when I found a K-Mart that still sells ammo and GUNS! It was in Pennyslvania

Don't know if it's normal, but the Longs back in Humboldt still sells shotguns.

I feel sorry for those that have to go to or depend on Wal Mart to buy their ammo. While they may have good prices some times, haveing to wonder which store carries ammo is just wrong. I guess that I am just lucky to have so many choices on where to buy my ammo.

I shop there for ammo time to time. Ammo prices are usually pretty good (especially hand gun ammo). Gun prices are reasonable. Sometimes I feel like I am at the Nudey Bar when I visit RCGE. When one asks you if you need anything, not even 2 minutes later someone else will ask you again. If you stay there long enough the whole store would have asked you if you needed help. Now don't get me wrong I love customer service but man it is like I have the dollars in my hand at the tip rail.

As for Wally World, no problems buying from the Folsom or Rancho store. There are usually out of WWB .45 100 packs but I get them when I see them.

Did the Milpitas Walmart start selling ammo again? We don't have any ammo in Fremont or in Livermore.

I went into Walmart down here in San Jose last year and bought about $150 worth of ammo while they still sold it and the clerk asked me "Who pis-sed you off today?" as she was ringing me up $150 goes quick when it comes to ammo.
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.

And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.
