The may have been posted in another forum but I think this is where it belongs. This morning in Los Angeles a well to do FFL holder had what looked like a huge collection of guns confiscated by the ATF/LAPD. No official count but the media is saying a 1000. I looked at a close up of the pile of guns and they weren't junkers. Right up front was what looked like a mint S&W. I'm not that well versed on model recognition, but it had a vent ribbed barel. Looking back thru the pile it looked like the rest were in like condition... The authorities were saying the owner, even tho he had an FFL, was operating illegally...
Here's my thoughts.. without picking a right or wrong. The guns looked like they were in a collection, and if the guy had the bucks to buy them. We all seem to have that affliction on a smaller scale... But he might have also been dealing with an FFL3?? Hopefully someone will shed some light on this and keep us informed.
If this is mentioned elsewhere... Sorry 'bout that.... :-)
