Link to document to take to range with standard cap mags, just to be safe??

I hear some are keeping documentation with 30,40,50 rd mags. Anyone have a quick link to a prepared\highlighted one that has been vetted by someone with a good legal background? Thanks for any help.

There's really no point to looking for such.

If you purchased such mags inside the 'window', what you would need is a copy of the court order and receipts for your mags.

Is the Nice Officer going to read a court order and figure out what it means in the midst of an investigatory contact? Not his/her job.

In the unlikely event legal intervention is needed, you'll need a lawyer who will make the needed case for you. That will happen in court, not at time of LE contact.

Maybe my question was unclear. I'm not talking about reciepts, I'm talking about the portion of the law that is currently in place that states it is legal to currently own and use them.

May mean nothing to leo. They can confiscate and ticket. Your docs mean zip. Take your chances like we all do. They are still a nuisance under the law.

As helpful as any other piece of paper would be.

Do you carry relevant paperwork stating that featureless rifles are legal to own and possess and use at the range? Just enjoy your mags and stop worrying about it.

Many departments don’t have the doj opinion letter that should have been sent to all Leo that they are not a nuisance

                      Basic idea.

IX is the one LEO can pull on you.

Just like FIX A FLAT in a can no idea if it will help until you have to use it.
If it gives the OP peace of mind than why not have it.

I carry a piece of paper which says my pants are legal, and one for my shirt and shoes. Currently looking for one to cover my belt and socks.

Anyone know where I can get a bigger wallet? Must come with letter saying it is legal.

                        Just kidding sort of.

Prop 47 gave petty and not so petty criminals a pass.
The police could not be bothered with anything minor anymore.
Why would they take time away from the donut shop to harass you?
What range are you going to that harasses members/customers about magazines?
Any range can set rules they want, such as caliber, steel bullets, number of guns you can have out of the case at any given time, and so on. If you don't like it, find somewhere else, or private property.

For those that have given helpful info i thank you for your input and time. For those stating idiotic things like "I don't have paperwork for my pants", buying your pants was not just made legal for only a week. You are the reason many good gun owning people stay away from forums like these. I did not ask for your opinion on whether you carried paperwork or whether you thought it was stupid. Read the post title. It was directed to those who do or would carry paperwork highlighting the current status of the legal issue at hand. Notice i don't put you down for not wanting to have any backup material with you in case the need would arise. If you have no information that relates to the initial post, try not replying. I don't need your grief.
