CMMG piston upper hand guard

Ive have a few year old CMMG piston upper and looking to replace hand guard. I replaced clam shell with Midwest Industries quad rail when purchased and now looking to replace for rails with more real estate. Piston set up looks identical to Adams Arms Standard Picatinny gas block. Anyone have success with A2 front post rail kit slipping over piston gas block? Anyone know if Moe SL handguard can modify to fit behind gas block? Looking for suggestions
