WW to resume selling firearms, pilot program.

Dropped by the Corona Wall Mart to check for a potential sale on fed 5.56, and struck up a conversation with the sporting goods manager. He gave me a heads up that his department will take part in a new California program to reintroduce firearms back into 3 stores. He didn't tell me about which other stores will partake, but he said the Corona store was in. Supposed to be installing a gun counter like they used to have and it will be done during their upcoming remodel. No exotics, but the usual shot guns and rifles. Anyway, thought that was pretty cool to hear.
He also said they rarely offer ammo discounts there because they sell such large volumes of ammo at that location.

Believe it when I see it!

P.S....Gee....I wonder how they're going to handle people bringing guns into the store for PPT's?

The manager conformed that as well, hence why many stores are blowing out ammo pricing.

Sounds like they'll have stock similar to Big 5, E.G: probably no handguns. Their policy of no sales to under 21 shouldn't be an issue in CA too. Most gun store employees make just above minimum wage, so I don't think finding people is the true issue.
