it's offical, just guns has arrived!

the long awaited gun store in the familiar location is set to have it's soft opening on saturday. just guns located at watt and auburn blvd(3530 watt ave. suite 8 sacramento 95821) will open for all your shooting needs. as i stand here, looking out at the newly remodeled store, i see firearms, ammo, cleaning supplies, cases, optics, and everything else you might need for a fun day at the range. if they don't have it, they can get it! there are cases of firearms ready for purchase, including lowers. the owner is a friendly guy who wanted to open a store that caters to the enthusiast without all the b.s. that you find at other gun stores. so come on down and check it out!

SH*T! I passed by there early this evening and only remembered how there "used to be" a gunstore there! Now I'll have to wait until Saturday to explore (going to Reno tomorrow!)

Ok, back from Recon!

Took my wife and we went to Just Guns. Sign on the front says "NOW OPEN!". Went inside, they are very friendly and helpful there. They have some merchandise of all kinds available now and more on the way coming in all this next week and probably after that too. They have a selection of handguns, I remember seeing Ruger, S&W, and Walther, many more besides, both semi-autos and revolvers and one little derringer. Awwww, ain't it cute? They have some pistol and some rifle ammo out on the shelves and more is on the way. Lots of accessories. No reloading stuff yet, I'm told that is planned for the future but the with the component shortage it would be a tease right now, so that'll come later. Holsters, slings, targets, cases, cleaning kits and supplies - I don't remember any hunting-specific stuff. That's fine by me, there is always Badger Johns for that sort of thing.

Looks like it will be a great little store catering to "Just Guns" and those of us who love them!

Just Guns

I stopped by there today myself and picked up some PMC Bronze 9mm. Average priced considering the ammo hoarding that's going on. I also had my eye on a Mossberg 930 SPX they had on the shelf. Just happens to be priced the same over at RCGE. All told, a very nice gun store and hopefully a new place to shop for future purchases.

I stopped by there today on the way up to the Reno show.

They had some handguns and long guns there, with more on the way , I was told. Plenty of cleaning stuff, targets, cases, etc. and super polite people working there.

Sure enough a place opens up close to where I live right before I move to Fair Oaks. And yes I know that there is Badger Johns (ridiculous prices), Elkhorn gun shop (just as bad prices), and Sportsmans (nothing in stock) But RCGE always has what I need and great customer service, if I am not ordering from Rob at Sacramento Blackrifle.
But I am excited to check out this new place on Monday or possibly tomorrow if they are open, maybe I will find some good deals

Any 5.56/22lr there?

I'm pretty sure I saw some, but I can't remember how the pricing was. I think one brand was Remington in those 40 round packs, but I could be wrong. The ammo shelf isn't fully stocked just yet. The nice people working there told me they'll slowly be stocking their shelves over the next couple of weeks and I'm sure I'll be stopping by to take a look.
