one just sold with a transferable sear for $29,154.00
Save your pennies so when you move out of state you can get one
that means you can move the sear into other HK guns to make them full autoLIVE FREE OR DIE!

Would love a 10mm FBI MP5.

No such think as a factory new fully transferable mp5 of any variant. The post 86 navy trigger group should throw enough red flags. The lack of a navy finish which would be in a museum sends a few flags to HK enthusiasts. The fact that MP5s were made beginning 1966 and none imported until 1969, a year after GCA68, should cause an NFA collector to think twice about the sales ad.
That is not a unicorn. It is a chimera being sold by a carnie.sigpic

Phil, you would know better than I would. The only time I ever held and fired a full auto MP5 was in Vegas over 20yrs ago.No such think as a factory new fully transferable mp5 of any variant. I'm not an HK expert but that one really sticks out as fraud. No box. No clear picture of the date stamp.
I passed on a 1977 presample a few days ago. Was only $11k.
I'm sure there are a lot of guys that think they own unicorns but have chimeras.
I tried convincing a certain unnamed Calgunner to buy a true new in box Colt M16A1 government property marked M16A1 last week and he hesitated. I have never seen a new in box prop marked M16A1 before so I spent a few days vetting the seller before I suggested he buy it. It was as legit as I could tell without submitting it to Colt.sigpic

Back on the topic of full auto MP5s,
I remember an article in some old gun magazine where they took a look at a MP5 that had been used by some government agency ( I want to say it was from some Florida launchpad or nuke plant security somewhere but I could be mistaken).
They described the barrel looking like a sewer pipe and they even had photos to go along with the article.
They implied it kept running without a hiccup though.
But doesn't the MP5 use the roller delayed action so does that mess up the fired brass ( and make that brass harder to reload) or is that only on some of the rifle calibers?Comment

When I was taking a firearms class, my teacher who is/was LE and also "tested" silencers for a manufacturer, brought out a fully automatic, silenced MP5 so we could try it out. It was nuts to unload a full magazine not needing hearing protection.....pffft,pffft,pffft,pffft..... Man that was funComment

I would shoot the crap outta that. Faux or not, I'd make it rain...
Better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it.

That thing is a rip off, it's a converted hk 94, with a swing down lower, meaning it's a converted gun and only a registered receiver.... that means only the gun is registered, that gun is maybe 20k... get yourself a registered Hk dear and you can move that around to multiple "host" guns... registered receivers are the least valuable of all the Hk Class 3..Comment
