Some more AZ MG fun!!

Went out and shot some MG's yesterday. We were shooting at 300 yards at a steel target at the base of a hill you can see in the distance.

MG3 on a anti anti-aircraft tripod.

M-11 with Lage Max-31 upper and Suomi drum mag.


M-16 with Flightlite MCR Gen 5 upper also on anti-aircraft tripod. The brass and link catcher is from Tactical brass recovery.

On a gun forum that seems like saying shooting guns is not my cup of tea?
I dont understand this at all. Shooting Machine guns takes a certain amount of skill to hit your target, no different than semis.

Its possibile USMC has met some machine gunners and was less than impressed with their commitment to RKBA or maybe he just doesn't think shooting machine guns are all that much fun.

I have met some who were ill spoken, slovenly and boorish. Naturally this doesn't describe all MG owners, but sometimes impressions are difficult to overcome when a group is very small as are machine gun owners.

Then again its possible, he like me, has no interest in shooting something he will never own.
Whether its fun or not is up to each individual!

For the record I do enjoy the Knob Creek Machine Shoot where mini guns roar throughout the night.
For me the best part of knob creek are the competitive events combat shotgun, pistol, rifle and several events amateur shooters enjoy in friendship !
Included in the Knob Creek experience is a gun show which features all variations of NFA items for sale and like all gun shows this one is fun too !
