How long till a semi auto ban

I'm curious Newscum and his friends said they hate us. How long till they go after handguns and or Semi autos in a ban. They have the votes whats stopping them? There must be some invisible hand of power controlling the wheel

Newsome just said "hold my coke".

After the recent mag ruling, I think he and his buddies are going to think twice about taking things too far. A blanket ban on semi auto may end up blowing up in their faces if taken to SCOTUS.

I’d really like it if they did - they’d get massacred once it reached the SCOTUS, and who knows what else would come down with a good ruling.

Has anybody informed Ginsburg she needs to retire from the bench so we can fully restore our 2A rights, do away with the NFA and bring back the Sears catalog offering full auto Thompsons for $199?

They do not care about a loss in the Supreme Court. It is strictly politically motivated. A loss motivates their base to vote for a liberal president who will nominate liberal judges, who will one day restrict our second amendment rights. Sad, but true.

Can't legally ban something that is "in common use".

I don't believe there are many more sheep for them to gather, in fact, I think they're losing little bits of the flock everyday. Look at how desperate they are to get foreign Nationals into the country.
On the other hand, an effort to ban all semi-autos would provoke lots of resistance and probably move some fence-sitters to the Right. Horizontal Harris would have no chance of gaining the party's nomination.
And, the ban would of course raise the ire of the Supreme Court. I doubt the law would stand for more than a matter of weeks.

So Gavin, what you have to ask yourself is, "Do you feel lucky?"

They already sent one to Gov Brown. He vetoed it.

Only a matter of time until they try it again now that they have a governor that will sign it.
