    5.45/AK74 Muzzle Flash

Having never fired the AK74 round, I'm curious as to what someone who does have experience with it has to say. From reading this post (scroll to #5) http://shootersforum.com/showthread.htm?t=6104
there seems to be quite a bit of flash. I just wanted some differing opinions/observations.

It also suggests that the 5.45 is a lot more accurate than many people say it is.

The '74 flash is because of the muzzle brake. It is great for keeping the muzzle down, but it produces one heck of a flash. I shot it at night once out in the desert and it damn near blinded me.
