DOJ arrest at Lancaster gun show.

Small show, only two jerky vendors.
Apparently since they couldn't find the underground 11+ black market mag ring they were looking for, they picked up a vendor that had a collapsable stock on one of his display ARs.
    Oops.

Sorry, must've deleted my post in order to add follow-up questions just as you posted a reply.

In any case, not trying to call you out or anything, but how do you know what the vendor was "picked up" for if you don't know how the rifle was configured? A collapsible stock is fine on various configurations.

          ^^^ That's weird.

A lot of the vendors at the Cow Palace use airsoft or 80% lowers to demonstrate their warez.

I don't "know," that's what the guy at the next table told me. Seems very possible IMO given the web of various AW laws. It would be easy to unknowingly make a mistake.

Some "guy" at a gun show said.

              Is right up there with.

Some "guy" at the range said.

And some counter monkey "guy" at a LGS said.

Or the ever popular some "guy" said his mother in laws's cousin's half brother's maid said.

I went Saturday morning at 9:00AM and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
Only purchase was some Remington .308 Win 150gr SP from LAX ammo. Opened one box and found the lead tips smashed.

There are still gun shows in CA?
It was not a threat. It was an exaggerated response to an uncompromising stance. I was taught never to make a threat unless you are prepared to carry it out and I am not a fan of carrying anything. Even watching other people carrying things makes me uncomfortable. Mainly because of the possibility they may ask me to help.

Ok, fair enough. I saw them with the guy cuffed in their vehicle on my way out, so I'll amend my statment. The reason for arrest is unknown.
