    LCM + CCW question

Is there any restriction on using legally acquired LCM in your carry pistol?

    No.

But if the 9th reverses later, yes.

I would check with the ccw issuer or lawyer?

          Nothing here about LCM.
I know mods (like trigger, non stock springs, barrel, mag well) are not allowed. Changing sights is allowed.
I've never asked about LCM, and don't see any reference to it.

I have pistols on my CCW for which I have never owned castrated mags.

                Hahaha yeah so do I, a Colt 1911 and a Glock 43.

The G19 has a full belly now, and that's what meant the most to me.
Buy made in USA whenever possible.

Being that CA is a 'May Issue' state, each Sheriff's Dept can come up with its own criteria, rules, and terms relating to CCW issuance. It's important to keep in mind that just because something isn't illegal, it doesn't mean that it can't be against the department's rules and possible grounds for revoking your license.

I just renewed my permit and took the renewal training course within the last few months. I re-read the "Terms of the License" paper copy I received from the instructor (link below for my county), and it does not mention anything about magazine capacity restrictions. The instructor, however, advised the class that it would be against the rules to carry with a magazine over 10 rounds.

That said, check the terms of your license from the issuing department and make your decision on what to carry. If you're still not sure, you can e-mail the CCW unit to get their written confirmation. Over the phone will do you no good as you won't have proof in case an incident ever happens and your license is in question.
