?The constitutional right to bear arms in public for self-defense is not a ?second-class right,? subject to an entirely different body of rules than the other Bill of Rights guarantees.? ?.. Sure!
I use won’t buy an electric car, burn too much gas, double flush my low flow toilets, eat beef, won’t vote Dim, EAT BACON, call people by their proper pronoun he or she, put the wrong items in the wrong recycling containers, use disposable grocery bags, etc, etc, etc.
But most importantly, i do things that the Constitution allows me to despite the desires of the ruling class.?The constitutional right to bear arms in public for self-defense is not a ?second-class right,? subject to an entirely different body of rules than the other Bill of Rights guarantees.? ?.. The OP has a point, and Michel also got at it in the Newsweek article. A large number of law abiding Californians, once the law allowed them, demonstrated a huge pent up demand caused by the "safe gun laws" that state has passed.
That even the evil gun owners of California worry about staying within the law. And oh, BTW, criminals don't.
Also isn't it curious that the state's homicide rate has worsened in the past 10 years, despite all the new spiffy laws.Comment
