Buc Dan, Trump is bringing more balance to the 9th, but Constitutional judges are still outnumbered there.Comment

I suspect the 9th will allow possession of those pre-2000 and these past 6 days to remain legal, prohibit a "taking" but continue to allow the ban on future sales, trading, gifting, manufacturing, etc.
However, there is no reason to get negative about it ahead of a ruling; whatever they are going to do it's beyond your power to have impact. You are better off spending your time fighting the current bills going through their processes before the CA legislature in Sacramento.
I had mostly given up on the latter, but this recent injection of hope for freedom with meaningful measures has renewed a bit of my drive to fight this crap again.
If anything, it's a good validator as to why so many of us plead how important it is to pay attention to the Judges on the ballot when elections are on high. So many voters either ignore that or vote solely based on the sound of a last name. Benitez is no slouch. Can you imagine if we could vote hundreds more like him into the courts of CA if we only researched and educated each other on who and what are the likely positions of Judges based on their historical decisions when they are up for election and/or confirmation?
