    Incomplete BBAW Registration

    Asking for a friend:

If BBAW registrations were submitted in June and bounced back/marked incomplete in December(notification from CFARAS went to junk mail), would it be illegal to try to complete the registration at this point?

Handgun registrations sent in the same batch are marked "In-Progress"

How messed up is this situation?

    Thanks,
    Guy asking for a friend

What's the reason for incomplete status?

Several fields were marked incorrect like the model name being whatever was printed on the receiver rather than "AR RECEIVER" since it was self-assembled.

Caliber should have been MULTI instead of .223.

Date Acquired field was also listed as "Self Built" but they wanted the manufacturer of the lower. They're also asking for the name and zip code of the place it was bought and that store might not even exist anymore - it was from another state originally.

Self built? Like from an 80% receiver?

Or self "assembled" from a complete lower?

"Sporter" is what the drooling toothless inbred albino with the hacksaw thinks his newly created "dear riffel" is.
"Bubba" is what he and his ugly and ruined rifle really are.
First you are chopping up historic vintage rifles and sticking them in cheap and nasty looking plastic "dildo" stocks that look like some kind of futuristic sex toy that gay space aliens stick up each other's butts.
Next thing you know, you think "Deliverance" is a love story.

OP, if it bounced back then correct it and resubmit, if you never paid the fee but in your cart unpaid. I wouldn’t suggest paying and submitting.

The actual firearm was just assembled, but the form was incorrectly put in as self-built (the option which I guess was for 80% builds).

The transaction has already been paid for back in June.

So it's okay to update and be finalized?

If they bounced back as incomplete, there is a box and statement of what you should correct it to, correct what they want corrected then resubmit the correction

There is your original submission date, then a date for any subsequent kick backs for correction. Your good to go on any kickback asking for a correction
