    Deep Laser Engraving a Stock

I was bummed to hear the guy i went for my AR to get engraved said his machine doesnt work on wood. Does anyone have any recommendations for a laser engraver for wood stocks in So Cal?

Since you’re just doing wood, couldn’t you get one of the hobby ones with CNC? And do it yourself?

I dont think just any hobby store tool will be able to engrave a complex design. And i'd rather pay a few bucks than a couple hundred/thousand for a machine ill only use once.

yeah i had someone pm me about that but i dont know of any CO2 laser engravers in So Cal with experience on stocks.

after some YT research i wish i had the time to learn how to hand engrave the drawing myself, the time lapse videos make it look like a really cool hobby

I would think any trophy shop can laser engrave wood.

Doubt any trophy/hobby shop has a 3D laser engraver.

It would be helpful, when asking for advice, to include ALL the conditions up front.
