CA featureless with CNC warrior muzzle brake?

any one know or had experience with building a featureless ak with the CNC warrior 4 piece brake?
It says muzzle brake on the website so this should be legal in CA?

Muzzle brakes and compensators of all shapes are on Ebay for $40 and many for less than that. What makes this one special at $99??

Here comes the question. The one you send says flash hider, so it won’t be legal for a featureless build. But the CNC warrior states that it’s only a muzzle brake, even they look the same. So I assume CNC warrior would be ok for featureless?

As long as no law enforcement officer who is checking out your rifle ever decides it is a flash hider, you are fine.

The fact that you can't tell them apart is definetly a problem.
If they took a picture and did a google photo search, it's going to come back as a flash hider.

Also, there is the sticky part of the CA law that says that any muzzle device which lessens the flash to the shooter's point-of-view is a flash suppressor.
A krink flash suppressor (or brake if you choose to call it that) does reduce the flash to the shooters point-of-view because it traps the gasses in the chamber created by the internal cone.

So, take whatever risks you like.
Just don't ever get in trouble with it and you will probably be fine, the same way people exceed the speed limit daily and don't get in trouble.

It's a single baffle sound suppressor.
