    iPhone Ballistics App

Anyone use it? I am new to long range shooting and will receive my 10FP-LE2B next week. Bushnell 3200 10x and XTR rings just need to be mounted and it needs to be zero'd. The base mounted is a K.F 0MOA. I think I need a 20MOA to get out to 1000yrds? (not that I know of a range that goes out that far)

I ran the program after selecting all my info...just wanted to see if I got this right.

Columns represent from left to right

Range/Drop in Inches/Drop (MOA)...only concerned with elevation right now

So according to this...from my 100yard zero, to hit 1000 yards I need to add 40.62 MOA to elevation. At 1/4 MOA per click x 40MOA = 162 clicks?!
The scope has 100MOA adjustment is it 50 up and 50 down?

I tried it a few weeks back and it was off quite a bit from the JBM stuff. Not sure if it was user error, I haven't had a chance to look into it. The JBM calcs were off too, but were really close compared to the iphone app.

Depends on your zero. A base with 15-20 moa built in will help if you run out of range.

There is a really good thread about all of this somewhere on here. I'll try to find it for ya...

Perhaps mount the scope higher on the gun the zero will start out farther out.
