Easy answer to this , add more safety features on an a gun. Safety lever, LCI, loaded chamber indicator (bump on top) and on back of the rail), have a visual bullet feature, mags block to 10 rounds, internal drop safe features, trigger safety feature .Bam now with all these safety features they would of had a little extra time to think before shooting themselves in the chest...
