    ALG GO JUICE LUBRICANT

I’ve used go juice and their very thin grease on all my firearms for about 1.5-2 years now with no complaints. I prefer the grease because it stays where you apply it. Great for slide rails and BCGs. Not sure if it’s component quality (a few of my friends tend to buy really cheap stuff), higher round count or the lubricant itself but both my ARs and my 3 glocks all function smoother than my friends comparable firearms. It’s especially noticeable when racking the slide or charging handle. It costs a bit more but I’m still going in my original 4 oz bottle so it does last a while. Defined buying more when the time comes.

Out of curiosity, what did you use prior? Right now I use hoppes for cleaning and Mobil one for lube.

I was using eezox originally but had started to use rem oil pro because it was cheaper and easier to find. I still use eezox occasionally but as more of a cleaner/rust inhibitor than as a lubricant. Been using/trying breakthrough solvent as a cleaner with good results lately too.

I've been using it a bit for the past couple years, but I'm trying to use up my stash of the other products first. The reason I first tried it is because that's what Bill Geisselle is peddling.

Well, that's where the G in ALG comes from. As in Amy Lynn, his wife.

I use Rig gun grease on my pistol slides ,,, and any rifle parts that slide together ... Rem oil on the rest ,, although alittle thin... Hoppes oil is thicker for longer term storage... Rig does make a mixture of grease and oil that I haven't tried out yet but looks interesting....
                Cheers....

I went from regular CLP to FireClean and finally off to ALG's Go Juice and 0000 Very Thin Grease. Some of the things I've noticed:
                  • it doesn't gum up like FireClean even if you store it for long periods of time.
                  • my firearms cycle ridiculously smooth now - even smoother than compared to a well CLP-ed firearm.
                  • it generally stays where it is applied and doesn't leak/drip if overapplied. I just have to wipe down any that come out between the surfaces of my firearms.

In my current cleaning kit, I carry CLP, GJ, and VTG. The CLP is if I notice rust and I want to remove it. The GJ is for break in, cycling, and carbon removal. The VTG is for storage and general lubrication. I've noticed that cleaning is substantially easier with the grease as it's mostly a wipe down and reapplication. I initially tried to do the lube on rotating parts and grease on sliding parts, but eventually just started using VTG for everything.

I got a whole bag of samples. Squirt it liberally onto BCG before shooting instead of CLP.

Action sure feels a lot smoother with it than with CLP. If that actually matters is anyone's guess, although I am sure some will have some strong opinions on that.

Better than Slip? So far nothing has bested that stuff here.

yeah, i use it primarily. i believe its the new lube that geissele put their weight behind as well. good stuff and i have had no issues.

as stated above, the ability to not run too much when applied is nice.

Was curious about the ALG Go Juice, but I'm using Brian Enos Slide Glide everywhere I would normally use grease. They make a few different formulations for different types of guns. It's awesome, would recommend, A+

Also, i'm shocked people still use Rem Oil. That stuff's doesn't seem to do any one thing well, let alone multiple things. Hell, regular old CLP is thicker and makes a better rust inhibitor.

considering that ALG is connected to geissele in that it is a sister company (i believe a family member to bill started ALG)

it isn't hard to think that geissele would also put their trust/name behind ALG's products too.

Thanks for the info. I first got it with some geissele parts and tried it out to good results. Didn't know a family member started it.
