    What's up with Del-Ton?

Just venting here hahaha. I shot their sales dept. a question about their A2 dissipator upper, querying when they are going to have them available for sale. I got a reply saying that they haven't had any A2 uppers for sale since 2016. I know they're not the first or last stop for A2 uppers, but I enjoy their price point and quality. Keep in mind, this particular AR is strictly for fun and plinking. I just find it weird that a company would be out of stock on items for this long.

Did they discontinue them in 2016?

The site just lists them as "currently unavailable."

Windham might have what you're looking for.

Check around on TNTE Sales site, the place for A2 uppers.

Sorry...I meant upper assemblies, not just the upper.

The Windham Weaponry upper assemblies are priced right for me, but I'm not a fan of the detachable handle/flat top upper. I'm debating on building my own from parts, but there is the cost of tools in addition to materials to build just one complete upper.

I recently bought the Del-Ton Dissipator barrel and attached it to an A1 upper for a retro look AR. Worked very well, even though I had concerns over the rifle length gas system.

Anyway, you could just build it yourself or have someone put it together for you.

But be aware that it is a heavy barrel.
