Ok, so I have been looking up how to calculate recoil and I keep having the Mathmatician answer pop up. Is there a handbook for dummies version on the explaination.
If I am looking at two boxes of ammunition and wanted to compare how the recoil on each might be, what do I do with the numbers I see on the box:
Example:
Caliber 9MM LUGER
Muzzle Velocity 1200 fps
Muzzle Energy 368 ft. lbs
115 grain
vs
Caliber 9MM LUGER
Muzzle Velocity 1125 fps
Muzzle Energy 323 ft lbs
115 grain
Is there information from the box i am missing to do the calculation.
