Interesting to see that figure. My guess would have been more.
For $3,300 to the consumer he may sell a few if it ever really makes it to the market. Ten percent may not be enough for a dealer to have a novelty taking up space in his shop while hoping someone will buy it. I can see why some would be pissed when certain figures are blurted out.
If it were available in .45ACP I might be interested.

those types of guns are traffic makers. gets people in the store. rarely sold except to guys that buy just because the want everything.

there is not much margin in new guns unless the manufacturer has a strict policy or it is a low production gun. i prefer to sell 1 or 2 high end guns than 30 beaters.

Ahhhhh, now I know. Thank you for educating me on Mr. McCollum. Now I understand his dress and all. Makes sense. Bad on me for assuming based on appearance alone.

Rad. I'd be awful tempted to buy one with a tax refund at that price.

FYI, There is a 22 gatling gun for sale today at the antique gunshot in Vegas for $13,500.

Buy a 9mm one and play with it for a while and then resale for profit. Because they are just cool.

Any opinions on legality in California? Would it be registered as a rifle? Semi-automatic or ?

I used to see an 1870s reenactment group that had a functional full sized 45-70 that
they'd display and demonstrate (no, not live fire...)

It's considered a multi-barrel manually operated repeating firearm.

If the barrel lengths are less than 16", then it is considered a "handgun" and it will need to be listed on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale or an exemption is needed to transfer it (LEO sale, out-of-state intra-familial gift, PPT).

If the barrel lengths are 16" or greater, then it would be CA legal due to it being a "long gun" that does not violate any CA laws.

It would need to be transferred with a 10 round magazine.
